Abby and Christy’s class- Transformation

Abby and Christy got a very good sense of arranging classroom space. They placed a big piece of drawing board, which was like a big sketch book, on the floor in order to let the students to draw on when they came into the classroom. It helped to create a community for the students to interact with each other in terms of verbal and visual. In another corner, there was a photography booth because they wanted to get a photo portrait of each student so that the students would have their own photos to refer to while they were painting their portraits in the later time of the class. Moreover, Abby and Christy made good use of a moving board. They posted the images, which were shown to the students last week, on one side of it. On the other side of it, they covered it with a big piece of newsprint, which allowed them to draw and write on it during the class. Also, I could see how organized and thoughtful they were to put all the tools, materials, and colors on the tables that the students would be working on. Good job, Abby and Christy.
